Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BoostTix websites, applications, and services. By creating an account, purchasing tickets, casting paid votes, or listing an event, you agree to these Terms.

If you use BoostTix on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Ticket and vote prices, fees, and availability are set by organizers and shown at checkout before you pay. Service fees and, where applicable, attendee protection fees are displayed before payment is confirmed.

• Paid tickets and votes are generally non-refundable unless an event is cancelled or required by law.
• QR tickets and vote confirmations are delivered digitally after successful payment.
• You must not resell tickets in violation of organizer rules or applicable law.
• Paid votes are final once payment succeeds; vote counts update according to campaign rules.

Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of event and campaign listings, honouring tickets sold, running voting fairly, and complying with local regulations. BoostTix may remove listings that are misleading, unlawful, or harmful.

Payouts to organizers are subject to verification, successful event completion, and our payout schedule. Chargebacks or fraud may delay or reduce payouts.

Card and Mobile Money payments are processed by Hubtel. Order confirmations may be sent by Hubtel SMS. BoostTix does not store full card numbers. By paying, you also agree to Hubtel’s applicable terms where relevant.

Currency for Ghana-facing events is Ghana Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise stated by the organizer.

You may not use BoostTix to:

• Commit fraud, manipulate vote counts, or circumvent anti-fraud controls.
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content.
• Interfere with platform security or other users’ access.
• Scrape or automate access without our written permission.

BoostTix provides the platform “as is”. We are not the event organizer and are not liable for organizer cancellations, venue changes, or nominee disputes except as required by law. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to BoostTix in the twelve months before the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
